Hard, compacted soil and hardpan can be a very expensive problem for the turf managers in many ways.

• Water standing in turf delays.
• Delayed playing is a delayed income.
• May Stunt root growth to Reduces turf root growth.  
• Increases fuel costs from trying to break up hard soils via aeration.
• Adds stress on equipment (aeration).
• Poor seed germination.
• Poor root growth, result in poor turf coverage.
• Less air getting to the roots results in thin turf more susceptible to fungus.

S S PTM is engineered to loosen compacted soil and break up hardpan, which causes these problems.  It is a full 60% solution of Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, the strongest we know of on the market.

The Competition

While some products advertised to do the same job, are actually wetting agents that just help drain excess water, by breaking down water size. This allows the water to seep into cracks in the soil. Those are only  temporary fixes to be used after every rainfall.

Using S S PTM will increase the downward movement of water which makes it more available to the turf, when needed. The results are:

EASY & EFFICIENT TO USE: A little goes a long ways.

TURF:  Apply at the rate of 1 oz. per 1000 ft2 with a enough water to wash into root zone.

Broadcast directly onto soil via any applicator or irrigation system. Extreme hardpan may require repeated applications. Can be used as a preventative in a regular program at the rate of 1 gallon to 30 acres. Use also to prevent pre-emergence crusting at the rate of 1 gallon to 30 acres. Can be mixed with most other soil amendments. Jar-test to ensure compatibility. Add S S PTM to the tank last to prevent excess foaming.
