SOIL INFO
Soil is the foundation that
builds strong crops, plants, roots, turf.
Soil needs carbon...
carbon feeds microbes and aids nutrients
to immobilize freely to the
roots.
Microbes help breakdown material
in the soil...
This break down (Humification) results in the formation
of Humus.
Microbes must be present.
Humus holds nutrients until
the roots need them.
Humus hold up to 95% of the
Nitrogen, 60% of the phosphorus
and 98% of the Sulfur.
Humus also holds moisture
and Air Vital for root growth.
During the warm season when
microbes are active they encourage the humus
to release more nutrients,
just when the roots need them most.
Break this cycle
and you will need more fertilizer to get the same yields.
